Our Mission

Jobs with Justice of East Tennessee (JwJET) is a coalition of labor unions, faith groups and community organizations working together to advance economic justice in Knoxville and surrounding communities. We are part of a larger network of local coalitions affiliated with national Jobs with Justice.

We believe that all people deserve:

• The right to earn a living wage

• The right to health care and a secure retirement

• The right to a safe and healthy environment

• The right to be fully employed

• The right to work free from discrimination

• The right to organize, bargain, and act collectively to achieve these rights.
